We believe in offering first class fishing and accommodation to anglers and their families. Our rules are just common sense, with the emphasis on fish welfare.
For those of you that like to fish over particles, you will find a full set of bulk particle preparation equipment and guidelines. The only baits that are completely banned are whole or chopped nuts.
Out of season, the fish are fed a diet of high quality carp pellets and D-Liver boilies. These are sold on-site along matching pop-ups, wafters and glug. We have no restrictions on bringing your own boilies or pellets.
Unhooking cradles are compulsory and these are provided for your use free of charge. You will also find a full range of specialist cat fish handling equipment, carp barrows and a rowing boat (however you need to bring your own life jackets). We also require you to use carp antiseptic on all hook holds.
Each angler can use a maximum of three rods, with a minimum of 15lb monofilament main line. For the safety of our fish we do not allow braided mainline, leaders, leadcore or bent hooks. We carry a range of spare terminal tackle if required.
There are no fishing permits or licences required to fish the venue.
We will be available to help you throughout your stay, but firmly believe in “it’s your holiday” and to leave you to enjoy the fishing, peace and tranquillity unless you need us.
Please contact us for advice on any of the above.
